A sizzling delight that zooms straight to the middle of the dinner table: chopped meat traditionally flavoured with black pepper, soy sauce, citrus and chopped onions. In Pampanga, the meat is boiled until very tender before being grilled or fried.
Ingredients (Serves 6):
1 kg (2.2 lb) of meat, grilled or fried and finely chopped
2 pcs onion, chopped
1 pack Mama Sita's Sisig Mix, dissolved in 1/4 cup (625 ml) water.
Cooking Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well
2. Garnish with chilli pepper if desired
3. Serve with Mama Sita's Hot Pepper Sauce Labuyo and Calamansi
