Del Monte Cream Style Golden Sweet Corn 425g

Cream style corn is the quiet hero of the Filipino tinned shelf: soft golden kernels in their own thick, sweet liquor, ready to become maja blanca, corn and cheese ice cream, or a pot of sweetcorn soup in about five minutes.

It is just as happy on the savoury side, stirred into chowder, spooned over grilled chicken, or beaten into fritter batter.

How to use:
Open and use straight from the tin, no draining needed. Warm gently as a side, or build it into soup, chowder, corn fritters, maja blanca and other Filipino corn puddings.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, transfer any unused corn to a covered container, keep refrigerated and use within a couple of days.
