Mama Sita's Sinigang sa Sampalok Tamarind Seasoning Mix 50g

Mama Sita's Sinigang sa Sampalok mix delivers that mouth-puckering tamarind sourness for the Philippines' best-loved soup.

One sachet, one pot, one properly asim sinigang for four to six.

Ingredients:
Salt, citric acid (added to enhance tartness), monosodium glutamate, cane sugar, onion powder, tamarind powder, tomato powder, chili powder, garlic powder, disodium inosinate and disodium guanylate

Allergens:
Some label versions declare soy (hydrolysed corn and soy protein).

How to use:
Dissolve one 50g packet in about 1.5 litres (6 cups) of water or rice washing and bring to the boil. Add meat, fish or prawns and simmer until tender, then add vegetables and cook until done. Makes a sour tamarind sinigang broth for 4-6 servings.
