Maxx is the Filipino answer to a scratchy throat and a long journey: a hard menthol sweet with enough eucalyptus in it to clear your head in one go. The bag holds 50 individually wrapped pieces, which is why it tends to live in a glovebox, a handbag or a jar by the till rather than in a cupboard.

Ingredients:
Sugar, glucose syrup (contains sulphites), eucalyptus oil (0.14%), menthol (0.11%), peppermint, flavouring and oil (0.05%).

Allergens:
Contains sulphites, in the glucose syrup.

How to use:
Unwrap one and let it dissolve slowly in the mouth.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight.
