Sardinas is the Filipino tin you always want two of in the cupboard, which is exactly what this pack gives you. Whole sardines in a savoury tomato sauce, ready to eat cold from the tin with rice, or tipped into a hot pan with garlic, onion and a splash of vinegar.

Mega is the biggest sardine name in the Philippines, and the fish are canned within hours of landing.

Ingredients:
Sardines (Fish) (55%), Water (36.7%), Tomato Paste (5%), Modified Starch (1.2%), Salt (1%), Sugar (Sulphites) (0.8%), Flavour Enhancer (Monosodium Glutamate (E621) (0.2%)), Garlic Powder (0.05%), Stabiliser (Xanthan Gum (E415) (0.03%)), Onion Powder (0.02%).

How to use:
Ready to eat. Spoon straight onto hot rice for breakfast, or fry with garlic and onion and finish with a little vinegar or calamansi. Also good stirred through pasta, mashed onto pandesal, or simmered with greens such as kangkong or spinach.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, transfer any unused sardines to a covered container, keep refrigerated and use within a day or two.
