Kaong, the sugar palm fruit, boiled until translucent and chewy and kept in a light, banana-scented syrup. The red version brings a pop of colour to halo-halo, buko salad and gulaman.

Palm fruit, water, sugar, acidity regulator (E330), colour (E129), banana oil.

How to use:
Ready to eat. Drain and spoon into halo-halo, fruit salad, gulaman or over ice cream.

Storage:
