S&B Golden Curry Japanese Curry Mix Mild 220g

S&B Golden Curry is Japan's best-known curry roux: a block of scored squares that melt into the pan to give a thick, glossy, gently spiced curry sauce. The Mild version is savoury and slightly sweet rather than hot, so it suits the whole family.

This is the curry behind katsu curry and curry rice. One box makes 12 servings.

Ingredients:
Wheat flour, vegetable oils (palm oil, rapeseed oil), sugar, salt, curry powder 7.7% (turmeric, coriander, cumin, fenugreek, orange peel, spices), flavour enhancers (E621, E627, E631), colour (E150a), spices (pepper, garlic, celery seed, mustard), acidity regulator (malic acid E296).

Contains wheat (gluten), celery and mustard.

How to use:
Fry your meat or prawns with onion, carrot and potato in a little oil for about 5 minutes. Add water, bring to the boil and simmer for about 15 minutes until tender. Break the curry blocks into pieces, stir them in until dissolved and simmer for another 5 minutes, stirring, until thick. Serve over rice or noodles, or with a breaded cutlet for katsu curry.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Reseal after opening.
