TRS Crushed Chillies Extra Hot 100g

Dried red chillies crushed into coarse flakes, and the extra hot grade at that, so a pinch goes a long way. These are the flakes you keep within reach of the hob for sinigang, adobo, fried rice and noodles, and for the little dipping sauces that sit beside almost every Filipino meal.

TRS has been milling and cleaning spices for the British Asian kitchen since 1959, and this is one of their everyday workhorses.

Ingredients:
Crushed Chilli.

Allergens:
No allergenic ingredients. May contain traces of peanuts and other nuts, sesame seeds, and cereals containing gluten, milk, celery, soya, mustard and sulphites.

How to use:
Add sparingly, tasting as you go, because this grade is genuinely fierce. Dropped into hot oil at the start of cooking the flakes darken and release their warmth through the whole dish; scattered over at the table they stay sharp and bright. Good in sauces, curries, soups, marinades, stir fries and dipping sauces.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
